THE PASTE TENSE OF REGULAR VERBS
The past tense of the regulars verbs is formed by
adding to the verb some endings as follows:
1. If the verb ends in e we add ed. Examples:

2. If the verb ends in consontant, we
add just d. Examples:

To open opened
3. If the verb ends in y preceded by a consonant, we change
erase the y and write
ied. Examples:

not or didnt, the verb remain in the
