VOLUNTARY WORK AT "MISIONEROS DEL AMOR DE CRISTO"
The main objectives of the Foundation is to help poor working children and their parents to improve their life conditions. Children who should be assisting normally to schools, are always at work helping their parents to work making bricks as they are very very poor and don't have enough money to send children to schools. We wokr with 20 families with approximately 7 to 9 members each of them.

The Foundation provides:

- medicine
- books, notebooks
- some food
- some toys
- specially LOVE as they normally do not receive from their parents

How can you help?

- Through our Foundation you can help specially children to help them to do their homeworks, to play with them, to help psychologically. You can teach them to learn and write, mathematics, etc.

You can help their parents to find another way of work so children can attend the schools.

Would you like to share some of your time with the street children?

These children really need help from anyone as their situation is very hard.

 

REQUIREMENTS TO WORK AS A VOLUNTEER:

- Level of Spanish: Basic or intermediate, minimum
- Minimum: 2 weeks
- Registration fee: US $60 for students of American Spanish School
- If you haven't learned Spanish please take at least 2 weeks of Spanish first at our school.

The voluntary work at "La Casa de la Niñez" is free of charge.

Te gustaría compartir algunas horas de tu tiempo libre con los niños de la calle?

En el centro colonial de Quito se encuentra “La casa de la niñez”, organizada por la “Fundación Pan” en conjunto con
El Patronato Municipal San José. La casa se ocupa de niñas, niños y adolescentes pobres que trabajan en la calle y de los que viven en la calle. Hay diferentes tipos de actividades que los voluntarios pueden hacer según los conocimientos que tienen y lo que quieren hacer.

Los únicos requisitos son:

- conocimiento del español básico;
- una permanencia en la Casa mínima de tres meses;
- durante la permanencia, trabajo en horarios regulares fijos.

El trabajo en la Casa de la niñez no tiene ningún costo.
